"You dare cross my path?” Kael snarled. “After what you did to my mother?”
Julien did not blink, he did not twitch; he gave no such pleasure to his older brother.
"She's my mother, too," Julien whispered.

To Kael, the cold emotionless voice of his sibling drilled deep into his mind. He was never told the reason for Nyx abandoning Julien, but the mere presence of him was enough to understand. He was no horse, he was a monster. He was untouchable.

"She's not your mother!" Kael suddenly roared. "You almost killed her! You're a traitor and a devil, and you're going to die!"

As he yelled, Kael’s environment grew and glowed; fire suddenly erupted from the shaking ground. Julien rose to the challenge; the skies rumbled and cracked and the rain pelted down to earth.

"You can’t kill me, Kael," Julien said. Compared to his raging brother, he was perfectly composed. He was cold and unmoving, he was a devil.

This is finally finished! I've been working on this on and off for weeks. The idea came to me looong long ago when me and =Nyxen were brainstorming, and she thought it was a cool idea.
So this is Kael (fire) Versing Julien (water) in an epic battle of the elements. If you've been hiding under a rock, Julien was abandoned by his mother Nyx at birth (and obviously lived) but nobody in the family likes him. In fact, MOST horses don't like him. Julien was about to invade Nyx's lands, and dear old Kael was there to stop it.
I've been trying to catch =Nyxen on MSN for years to send her a WIP of this, but she never answers! (lets all burn that evil stamp place and then she'll have time!) So Nobody has seen this picture except me.

Anyway, hope everyone likes this! I worked hard on it.

Kael and Julien are Murc and Nyx's foals.
